Hello, I’m Hilarey Boly—acupuncturist, Chinese face reader, and now content creator at Wise Hearts Connect. For 20 years, I’ve worked closely with people through the lens of Five Element acupuncture—helping them heal, grow, and reconnect with their essential nature.

I’ve long been drawn to the deeper wisdom beneath symptoms—the stories written in our bodies and fascinatingly, on our faces. As a master Chinese face reader, I see the face as a living treasure map: revealing where we’ve been, who we are, and the unique gifts we’re here to embody.

These days, I’m expanding this medicine beyond the clinic—through videos, writings, and conversations that weave together Chinese medicine, Taoist wisdom, cosmology, and the Five Elements. Wise Hearts Connect is a space for remembering who we truly are—and learning how to live from that place every day.

I grew up in Oregon, mostly free-range, spending a lot of time outside. My early love for nature, plants, and the healing wisdom they carry has shaped me. From summers farming heirloom vegetables to teaching nature programs at Hoyt Arboretum, I’ve always been drawn to earthy, soul work. My path led me to acupuncture—an art and science that still fills me with awe.

I earned my Master’s degree from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Florida and have been in clinical practice since 2007, licensed in Oregon and Washington. I’ve served as President of the South Sound Acupuncture Association and the Oregon Acupuncture Association. I’m grateful to treat people across the spectrum of life experience—from children to elders… and even a few dogs, cats, and horses.

My practice is an evolving blend of traditional and energetic medicine. I integrate acupuncture, Chinese face reading, Acutonics tuning forks, vibrational essences of medicine, plants, and stones—and incorporate plenty of conversation, warmth, and deep listening.

I love sharing natural medicine: helping us connect with our vitality, sense of purpose, and innate rhythm.

Outside of work, I spend time with my husband and our two boys, tending our houseplants and summer gardens, practicing yoga, lifting weights, playing in the kitchen, unwinding with documentaries, and keeping my mind open by reading books on healing, energy, and the mysteries of life.
